Upcoming classes:
The Theology Program: Class 2 "Bibliology & Hermeneutics"(Mondays at 7:00pm, starting January 19) - The second in a series of six intensive 10-week courses in theology at Freshwater Community Church. Topics covered: the origin of Scripture, reliability of Scripture, how to interpret Scripture. Students new to TTP must begin with classes 1&2 before moving on to other classes in the series. Christianity 201 (Sunday nights 5:00-6:30pm, January 11-February 1) - Grow in the practices of discipleship: prayer, studying and understanding God's Word, stewardship, and fellowship. This class meets for 4 weeks.
Financial Peace University (Sunday nights, 5:00-7:00pm, February 15-May 31) - FPU is a 13-week life-changing program that empowers and teaches you how to make the right money decisions to achieve your financial goals and God's plan for your life. The course includes practical lessons on eliminating debt, building wealth, giving like never before, and much,much more! During the program the average family saves $2700 and pays off $5300 in debt! You must attend one of the free previews at the church on January 25 @ 5:00pm or February 5 @ 7:00pm.
Christianity 301 (Sunday nights, 5:00-6:30 March 8-22) - Every person has a ministry! Discover how you are uniquely wired to make an impact in the world. Each of us have different gifts, abilities, personalities, and experiences that God can use to bring fruit and fulfillment as we offer ourselves to serve God. This class meets for 3 weeks and a coach will follow-up with you to help you plug into ministry.
Christianity 101 (Sunday nights, April 19-May 3) - Learn about the ins and outs of our church in the class as we answer questions like, What do we believe? How are we organized? What about communion and baptism? How do I become a member?
Church History (April & May) - Take a look back at the shoulders we stand upon as Christians. We'll cover major themes and important people in our Christian heritage. More details will be coming this Spring.
WOW is the women's ministry of Freshwater Community Church (Women Of freshWater). It is designed to connect women to God and one another. Whatever season of life you are in or wherever you are on your spiritual journey, we would love to help you find your place here.
WOW consists of 5 parts: fellowship, discipleship, missions, outreach, and prayer. Let us know if you want more info!
Mom2Mom Come relate to other moms, recharge with encouraging speakers, and walk away feeling refreshed. Mom2Mom is for moms with kids ages 0-18 and meets usually the 3rd Friday of every month 9:30-11:30am at Freshwater Community Church.
